The arrival time is 16:00. This gives us time to prepare the accommodation for you. If you expect to arrive later, please let us know in advance.
There is a small supermarket in Sos with a decent selection including delicious baguettes and croissants. Opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday 07:30-12:15 and 16:00-19:00, and on Sunday and Monday 08:00-12:15. For larger groceries, you can go to Nérac, a 25-minute drive from us. There you will find larger supermarkets that are open until about 19:30.
Can I barbecue at your place?
The swimming pool is primarily intended for peaceful swimming. We also allow some play (e.g., with a ball) upon request.
Almost every day there is a market where delicious fresh fish, vegetables and fruit are sold. In the surrounding area there are also evening markets where regional specialties can be bought and prepared on the spot, such as snails, duck, chicken, lamb, fruit, etc. All this delicious food can be eaten at long, festive tables. There is often a music band and almost no tourists. This is a specialty of the region!
At the moment, France has a green code with regard to COVID-19. There are therefore no measures. However, we advise you to respect the basic rules.
We are easy to reach by car. You can also fly to the airports of Bordeaux, Bergerac or Pau. A car can be hired at both airports.
If you prefer to travel by public transport, we recommend taking the train via Paris and Bordeaux to Agen, from where a bus runs to the village of Sos less than a kilometre from our accommodation. We can then pick you up there if you wish.
